Enchiladas Chicken Suizas

These were amazing! I'm Mexican so I tend not to eat Mexican food out since the best I've had is at home but these were so good! I've also had other things and I always find myself coming back for more!

Hello, I am a super fan of your establishment and have been a loyal customer of the Boyle Heights location for over 20 years! I was sad to hear of the recent closure of your flagship location but very happy that the Pico location is still open for business. I have worked downtown in the clothing manufacturing industry for 25 years and was a regular at the East LA location. I was so enamored by the phenomenal menu as well as the beautiful lush interior and attentive professional service of the staff. La serenata De Garibaldi reminded me of a restaurant I had visited once while on vacation in the city of Zacatecas, Mexico. The location in Boyle heights was perfect for meetings with important clients, birthday celebrations for coworkers and the location and attentive staff made it all attainable during our busy work week. We were able to enjoy your lavish menu and relaxing secluded atmosphere without taking a extended 3 hour lunch break, this was very important to partners of our company who quickly became fans of La Serenata as well. I am a Los Angeles Native and live in Elysian heights, I am a fan of Mexican cuisine and have a very high standard for any restaurant that claims traditional Mexican fare. A few of my favorite items that stand out on your menu and cause me to daydream when I'm hungry are' the roasted red salsa with warm corn tortilla chips and mini quesadillas, we would all fight over the last few quesadillas and my boss would always try to get more from the serves and would always be refused it was so funny! The best cream of mushroom soup I have ever had was served one evening with dinner and not served again which was disappointing yet the lentil soup was also amazing with cilantro floating on top. My very favored dish is the Camarones al mojo de ajo. The giant shrimp cooked to perfection were tender and light almost like lobster! The delicate rice served on the side was perfect to soak up the garlic and oil sauce. I can't wait to make the journey out to the west side when the restrictions are more relaxed from covid. I will bring my entire family and celebrate the good food and the resilience of the La Serenata establishment! Keep doing what you do, people like me love and respect it!

Enchiladas Chicken Suizas

The enchiladas were fantastic. The chicken was tender, the sauce was spicy and tasty. I have had this dish many times since, and it never disappoints.
